TestPros is seeking participants for an onsite Smart TV accessibility and closed caption usability testing effort scheduled for July 2026.

Location:
Sterling, VA (onsite at the TestPros office)

Timeline:
Early July 2026
(Currently anticipated between July 6 – July 17, 2026)

Time Commitment:
Approximately 1–2 hours

Compensation:
Paid participation

We are seeking participants representing a variety of accessibility experiences, including:

Limited hearing / hard-of-hearing individuals
Deaf individuals
Cochlear implant users
Neurodivergent individuals (including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or similar conditions)

The testing group will include at least one participant representing each category above.

Scope of Testing:
Participants will evaluate Smart TV closed caption features and accessibility usability, including:

Finding and enabling closed caption settings
Navigating settings using the remote control
Previewing caption customization options
Font size, color, and display settings
Readability and usability of captions
Consistency and persistence of settings across programs and applications

No technical experience is required. Participants simply need to be willing to provide feedback regarding their experience using TV accessibility features.
