Paid Accessibility Testing Participants Needed – Sterling, VA

TestPros is seeking participants for an onsite Smart TV accessibility and closed caption usability testing effort scheduled for August/September 2026.

Sterling, VA (onsite at the TestPros office)

Time Commitment:
Approximately 1–2 hours
We are seeking participants representing a variety of accessibility experiences, including:
- Limited hearing / hard-of-hearing individuals
- Deaf individuals
- Cochlear implant users
- Neurodivergent individuals (including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or similar conditions)
Scope of Testing:
Participants will evaluate Smart TV closed caption features and accessibility usability, including:
- Finding and enabling closed caption settings
- Navigating settings using the remote control
- Previewing caption customization options
- Font size, color, and display settings
- Readability and usability of captions
- Consistency and persistence of settings across programs and applications
No technical experience is required. Participants simply need to be willing to provide feedback regarding their experience using TV accessibility features.
Participants must be 18 years or older.

Rate: $25-45/hr. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range.
